David Spotswood joined Select Equities in August 2009 and is based in Melbourne. David has around 20 years experience as an investment professional. Prior to working at Select Equities, David worked as a fund manager at Warakirri Asset Management, Credit Suisse Asset Management and HSBC Asset Management.
David has a highly developed analytical skill set. He is focused on researching numerous sectors within the equity market (including small companies); developing investment processes and screening tools; and contributing to asset allocation decisions. David also has a strong knowledge of the bond market; infrastructure; hedging; strategic benchmark setting; risk management and measurement; economics; and derivatives.
David holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of South Australia. He also graduated from the Melbourne University Master of Commerce, with 1st Class Honours and holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Security Institute of Australia. |
